I like the Koenigsegg more than the Pagani, if I was going for that kind of 'hypercar'. The Agera R has been a bit under the radar, but I was watching this video and at 6:31 the reviewer uses the metaphor of death metal when talking about the noise of the Agera R and I thought it was a great way to describe it. Loved the review and it definitely caught my attention.

IMO, 'hypercars' should be a complete and utter assault on the senses, especially the aural sense. It will be interesting to see how the P1 stacks up in this regard...

Fair enough, I love em, but it's bling by comparison. they don't quite have the gravitas of the alpha dogs !

The opposite to this.

The Ferrari is mass produced in comparison.

The Koeniggsegg is like something out of Area 51 or skunkworks. Infinitely more exotic.

But they spend a lot of effort on 0-300-0 km/h style records which are pretty much the definition of pointless "look at me, I'm the fastest!" demonstrations.
