RE: Range Rover Sport leaked undisguised
Discussion
I don't think the "look at my big imposing range rover sport" owners of the current model will go for that, it doesn't look aggressive or imposing enough. Or big enough, all of these things being what an RRS is about?
P.s, I like the current design and wouldn't object to owning one if I could afford it, but could probably find better cars to buy for the money!

Is he a very 'large' gentleman or is the new Sport not much bigger than a Freelander??
Didn't he also leak the original sport back in the day as well... Makes the old one look agricultural in comparison. And the doors have lost their vertical fins - will be interesting to see when you can see it side-on.
Also looks like the bonnet (sorry - hood!) is open so it makes the front edge protrude more than it should...
Anyway, an improvement in my view - but the styling should have been even bolder.

Surprised the votes on this have been so low, looks quite smart to me! Yes they've gone Audi style and just made it look like a bigger Evoque/ smaller FFRR but that is no bad thing as it still looks good. Big improvement over the old model.
Anyone know what chassis its running underneath? Discovery 5?

I'd be suprised if this was based on a discovery when the new l405 is so modern in its chassis design techniques I would hope the same logic would be getting rolled out across the forthcoming range.
I like it, I would assume engine line-up would be similar to the l405 and suspect it to be excellent off road, even if most will never see anything more than the pavement!
Surely though this must be an official "leak"? You mean the guy did such a good job on the previous model "leaking" images JLR thought they would use him again, bit of a coincidence don't you think!?

I prefer this to the new FF RR.
One of the things that really bugs me about the new RR is the fake vents on the doors. They are so obviously fake - who would put engine vents on the doors for gods sake? It looks rubbish.
This new RR Sport appears to have genuine, non fake vents on the wings. So I approve.
I'll have mine in dark metallic green please with black leather and a coating of mud to remove the smell of chav or cheshire footballer.

I'm not sure on the looks of it, but then I really thought the new FFRR would be great but wasn't sure either, saw and sat in one at an LR dealers recently and still think that the mk3 looks a lot better, inside though the new FFRR is fantastic and I'm sure it will be a great car to actually drive, ditto the new Sport but looks wise I don't like either, perhaps they will grow on me in time.
