Does this qualify as a sleeper, with 340 bhp 520 NM?

Not a sleeper, also, a saab which just about everyone in history has wound up the boost pressure on.

My wife's hairdresser has done similar to his Orion. Will try and get some photos and the specs when I next see him. I think he has finished it now.

One for the probably not a true sleeper but bet it catches people out category.

R33 Skyline GTS. Its not slow as standard doing about 14-15 sec 1/4 miles but it would be battered by any hot hatch but this one can do 9 sec 1/4 miles.
Even the engine bay looks standard.

So looks like it should be playing with warm/ hot hatches but can give a Lambo a bloody nose.

Does this count? A boring family saloon . . .

350bhp, straight six, huge turbo, Brembo brakes, Ohlins dampers, 20" wheels and four wheel drive

Suppose so but not sure it would be all that fast, werent they about 190 bhp ? faster than a normal Transit but it isnt exactly going to give much of a shock, needs 400 bhp.

Cant you get some Merc vans with over 200 that can be remapped ?

No. Volvo went racing, fast volvos are well known. It's got alloys and loud paint.

I always fancy a tip/dog car which would be an old Fabia Estate with a TT 225 engine with a few choice mods.

I'm in two minds about my own car.. it's an MX5, so it's a sporty car, but they aren't 'fast'... but then an average punter might not be aware of the fact that they aren't fast and assume that being a sports car it should be fast...

But it was running 225bhp with an Eaton M45 supercharger and no external cues, before I holed a couple of pistons. It's currently mid engine transplant where it'll be receiving a 1UZ (4.2L V8 from a Lexus)

It can't be a wind up, can it? Next up: Golf R. It looks like a Golf R but it's been modified - suckers! rolleyes
