dear car manufacturers,

Stop spending all your effort and development budget making stupid fking toy cars with stupid fking spoilers and stupid fking colour schemes for stupid little fking rich boys from the middle east. Focus purely on making beautiful, desirable, classy, amazing and wonderful cars and if you really want to rape and pillage the saudis for their cash, buy a stupid little fking tuning house over there and get them to do it all, thus not utterly ruining your brand, and flooding PH with utter, utter, utter ste like this abomination.

Love,
Hopefully most petrolheads

That looks awesome! What the XKR-S should have been from the start. Think a standard XKR is still the better looking car, though obviously less track biased.

So presumably the average American can't fit in a fixed racing seat? Or is it that they don't want to?

The wing on the GT is genuinely functional and is balanced with the rest of the aero.

you took right! smile i'm pretty sick of seeing this type of thing as you can tell. Take a model name, add more letters to it, stick a ridiculous bodykit to it, add 15bhp, make it a limited run, double the price... it's just SO lazy. The thing is that they know that the guys with the new money utterly love this crap, and also change their car every few days with cash no messing about. All the prestige/supercar manufacturers are at it. It's just hateful, cheap, sell-out tat. The only difference between this emerging (emerged) market and the max power subscriber from 1994 is their bank balance. No one does style and class anymore; and I was moved to this post because Jaguar as much as they are 'doing well' at the moment, this appears to be becoming their main business.

Cheap bodykit add-on + jacked-up price + rich idiot = more profit = more money to spend on developing nice cars too.

Jag. Please make a proper GTE version, sort out a collection of proper drivers, throw some money at it and win GT Pro at Le Mans. Thank you, please. biggrin

I love how Jaguar keep spoiling this car for more and more money - the stock/standard model is very nice and every upgrade they add makes it look worse.

The XKR has about 3 rolls of chicken-wire in it's front-end and bonnet vents from a Corsa - the XKRS is a Bradbord BadBoy and this is a real 'crashed into Halfords special' isn't it? smile

Stock basic car - yes please - everything else, aimed at tasteless oiks...

They need a proper Racing programme, ideally starting with a GT-Pro car, then who knows? They last won Le Mans in 1990......

Make mine an XKR.

+1 That's how a Jag should look
+2. The standard XKR or even the XK with no spoilers, side skirts or wings looks absolutely superb. The XKR-S GT looks bloody awful. I thought Jags were supposed to be about space, pace and grace.........

Oh, I'm sure it's functional, but Jag missed a trick by not going for a more aggressive weight saving program with this version. Instead of a balls out Track Day Special, we've got a lovely cuddly Halfords Special. I don't mind the aero stuff, but it's all just bluster when they've not addressed the main reason for these exercises, IMO.

Ah but it's got the letters GT in the name, so it's probably meant to be a cuddly version of the more hardcore version of the XKR-S after-all? wink
