It was a direct result of Paul Smith and SafeSpeed's political lobbying that the corrupt hypothecation system of funding Speed Camera 'Partnerships' was dismantled.

Keep digging Ling....
Safespeed took credit for it. I doubt there lobbying had much affect.

Mods, I would genuinely be interested to know why this isn't thread isn't seen as advertising given some of the direct comments from Ling about her products, and in particular, them being cheaper in relation to competitors?

Is it safe to assume that

would not be closed either?

Paul Smith was a quiet operator. Believe me - he had influence, which is why Moonbat saw him as an adversary.

Are PH/Haymarket taking a bung to allow Ling to rant, troll and advertise?

Just had another email from Lucy, advising me how to appeal.

"Adjudications that are revised following a review will be republished on our {ASA} website."

Keep it up Ling. Fantastic thread - the funniest for a while. Anything that irritates some of the stuffed shirts, or those that are desperate to be 'offended' here can only be good.

I may regret this but I've just decided to follow Ling on twitter. Ling, you're utterly bonkers but the world needs more bonkers people. apart from Koreans, obviously biggrin

Yes, the whole premise of the ASA is that their censure is something companies would regret to have associated with themselves. Traditionally, that would always be the case.

But I have been amazed to find that the ASA is a complete paper tiger, staffed by idiots. They are a busted flush if you actually ask them what they can do to people who self-publish on their own websites. They have no actual power. You look them in the eye and call their bluff and ask what they can do...

Answer is: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
The ASA is the advertising industry self-regulating, to avoid having government regulation pushed on them. I'm sure you'd prefer the former over the latter...

Ling, I was looking at your website - the cars and prices are fine - but what if I wanted to add option extras?

No problem, but options mean factory build times, usually. Only sensible options, no silly £5000 Merc special paint smile

I don't want to discuss selling cars on Pistonheads, so if you email me, that would be better. ta.

You two sound like shills.

Ling has history, and a nasty habit of eventually stting on every doorstep she visits. Maybe this time it'll be different....
