They have about as much effect on rational policy as a dribble of spit on a 3-year old's birthday cake.
It was a direct result of Paul Smith and SafeSpeed's political lobbying that the corrupt hypothecation system of funding Speed Camera 'Partnerships' was dismantled.Keep digging Ling....
Mods, I would genuinely be interested to know why this isn't thread isn't seen as advertising given some of the direct comments from Ling about her products, and in particular, them being cheaper in relation to competitors?

Yes, the whole premise of the ASA is that their censure is something companies would regret to have associated with themselves. Traditionally, that would always be the case.
But I have been amazed to find that the ASA is a complete paper tiger, staffed by idiots. They are a busted flush if you actually ask them what they can do to people who self-publish on their own websites. They have no actual power. You look them in the eye and call their bluff and ask what they can do...
Answer is: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Ling, I was looking at your website - the cars and prices are fine - but what if I wanted to add option extras?
No problem, but options mean factory build times, usually. Only sensible options, no silly £5000 Merc special paint I don't want to discuss selling cars on Pistonheads, so if you email me, that would be better. ta.
