First, I would like to thank the snivelling idiot who grassed me to the ASA over my spoof DeLorean advert, you know who you are...
Second, I would like to thank the Haymarket director who spotted the injustice of my PH ban and who re-instated my account.
Third, I would like to thank the PH-ers undying support and 100% encouraging posts while I have been away.

For what it's worth, Ling has been unbanned because she's agreed to abide by the rules of posting on PH. Plenty of people running their own businesses who post using accounts which reflect their name and not their business, and Ling is no different.
I thought that reporting the DeLorean thing to the ASA was a bit of a low and humourless blow, but that's my personal opinion. In characteristic fashion she's managed to derive a bit of publicity from it, so there we are...

I wouldn't be surprised if she reported herself to the ASA anonymously in order to fight the case and get more publicity. Not that I think that's a bad thing, pretty shrewd really.
Like her apperance on Dragons' Den, she turned down the money because she never wanted it in the first place, it was just a stunt. 15 mins free primetime advertising, why not?

I don't know about hatstand, but Ling and the Top Gear boys could hot tail it in her truck to Pyongyang to help avert impending thermonuclear meltdown?
Perhaps someone in China should be coining it in making De Lorean clones? It works for Will I am in CA. Lead can look quite shiny when cast so perhaps a Chinese De Lorean clone could use polished lead for the bodyshell, being even heavier than the original and it would save dumping lead laden water on paddy fields.
