Andy, I can't remember if I've asked you this before, but is there anywhere where we can view all your Japan photos? I love them so much but think that I've missed a bunch in the other thread.
Hi Rupert,

Not at the moment - you would need to search through Vol 3 onwards to find them.

I'll look to upload to a Flickr account during the New Year hols.

Glad you appreciate them,

Andy

Excellent! Definitely looking forward to that!

Some brilliant shots and brilliant cars!

I've been to HK a number of times recently and have only seen loads of Maserati Gran Turismos and GTRs - I'm amazed by how many classics and track focused cars you have shot.
Thanks mate! It's odd, quite a few people say they come to HK and don't see anything very special. I'm not questioning anybody on this, but I don't understand how it happens as almost everywhere I go I see interesting stuff and it's the same for my mates that like cars here. My office overlooks one of the main expressways on the Island and there are great cars going past all the time. Odd. :shrugs:

Over the three and a half months I've been in Happy Valley, I've seen almost everything current in the supercar world and a lot of classics. It's a running joke with Mrs L that between here and Stanley we are guaranteed to see at least one Ferrari each journey, and never the same one on consecutive days.

The rarest car has been the Mercedes SLS - only one amongst multiple McLarens - Oh and no Veyrons!

Happy Valley is a hotbed of interesting cars, eh. There's a white AM Lagonda in s*** state in one of the residential car parks up there. Unofrtunately, you won't be seeing a Veyron anytime soon though as they're all left-hookers. Have you been into Car City and seen their Gumpert Apollo?

Of course I realise now why there are no Veyrons - Doh! Must be a few hacked off billionaires unable to display their ultimate wealth....

I saw a grey Wedge Lagonda on trade plates on the way to Repulse Bay a few months ago.

Car City is always nice to walk past - I spotted this outside it a few weeks ago - I think a "re-creation" rather than original on the basis that the interior looked far too nice.

Love that Z-car! Think he's part of the Classic Car Club. I saw that grey Lagonda in Causeway Bay a few weeks ago. Looked to be in very good condition, with a few modernized details. I have a couple of photos and a video of it on my mobile phone that I took when it drove by. It's now registered on a 'lucky' plate.

The wealth gap (that was already massive) seems to be increasing all the time. For a city where it is recorded that one in six live below the poverty line photographing the cars that I do seems a bit crass, but at the same time I guess it also underlines the issue that we have here. Ironically, when you visit government housing estates (not that these are the 1 in 6) the car parks are usually packed with shiny Mercs, etc. I think it the case of people saving money on rent and spending what they save on cars, etc.

Happy New Yeah PHers! Just got back from a three week holiday back in the UK and there was a dearth of interesting cars on the winter roads although on the last day there I saw an incredible Alfa SZ Coupe near Sutton in Surrey - massive want!

Anyway, back in Hong Kong here are some photos from the regular Sunday morning drive, this time out near the China border in the New Territories. I was particularly happy to get a shot of the single swingarm Honda NSR250SP - just love that bike!

There's something odd with the roof of that 550 - is it a Barchetta with an aftermarket hard-top?

Definitely - the factory only provided a cloth condom for the Barchettas, so I can imagine a hardtop being a desirable accessory!

I hadn't noticed them until you mentioned it. I believe this car has had a couple of modernizations...

Been a while since I added anything to the thread, so here you go.

Clean S15 minus the dent

A bit of a theme for these three

Out and about around town

Bikes. I LOVE taking shots of them, but they're so damn hard.

Don't see many of these around. Very nice and clean example.

Sharpest GT3 in HK by my book

Yum!

Off to Bangkok for a few days, more when I get back!

An early V8 Vantage. I thought that one would get some interest. Another...

Love this thread. So many lovely cars in so few pages! There seems to be different feel to the tasty cars you see in japan and Hong Kong than you see in say London. Lots more rarities in these pics, curiosities, one offs. Love it.
