There was a black one of these for sale in the UK a few days ago for about £20k, if memory serves.RedWhiteMonkey said:

Vauxhall cascada
I really don't get GM's thinking on this one. The starting price is £24k, for that amount of money you could buy a low mileage BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc. which would have much more presence and cache. kmpowell said:
I'll get the ball rolling, after accidentally stumbling across this today...

Toyota FJ Cruiser.
Mrs H and myself are looking for something as a car for having here in Turkey and this is high on the list... I cannot explain why I like it I just do! I think it is the mini-hummer esqe feel.
Funny you mention that, I saw a blue one of them yesterday. I did wonder what it was! Mrs H and myself are looking for something as a car for having here in Turkey and this is high on the list... I cannot explain why I like it I just do! I think it is the mini-hummer esqe feel.

And finally, the Audi S4 Plus, with a 4.2 V8. Available as a saloon or Avant, and think someone on here has one
There wasn't such car as S4 Plus, there was S4 V8 ('91-94), S6 V8 ('95-97) and then S6 Plus ('96-97) with 326hp slightly detuned S8 32V engine, of which 97 were saloons and 855 estates Edited by Leins on Tuesday 23 April 17:35

I stand corrected . Hadn't realised they produced two versions of the S6 with a V8 alongside each otherDon't suppose you know of any magazine features on any of these from back then? They seemed to have been ignored by the larger motoring world from what I remember
Nice car btw!

was sure I'd seen an Audi A1 saloon the other day, and it seemed to fit the trend of the Germans filling every stupid niche, but apparently there's no such thing. What did I see?
Probably one of these, I had to go on to the Audi website to find out what it was as I also thought it was an S1 Saloon rather than an S3 saloon. I only knew it was an "S" Variant as it had 4 exhaust pipes, came off a roundabout fairly rapid and sounded pretty good.ChemicalChaos said:
Saw a Renault Fluence in London recently:
never seen or heard of one before or since - I assume it isnt a UK market car?
I saw one for the first time last week. We parked up next to each other and being nosey, I got chatting to the owner. He said it had a range of 80 miles. The car was a '12' plate and he told me that he bought it from a Renault main dealer for only £8,000. A lot of car for the money.never seen or heard of one before or since - I assume it isnt a UK market car?

The petrol one has been available in Ireland (but not the UK) for a while - I was in a taxi following one into Dublin last year - taxi driver said saloons (boot) are more popular in Ireland.
