Yup, they drop like a stone.

Shocking depreciation.
You have to lease the battery for £70 a month from Renault.
Nice.

Is that the same with the Zoe then?

Is that the sole reason it dropped price that quickly?

I knew there would be a catch!

What would happen if you didn't pay the £70 ?

Thought I knew everything about 90's coupes the was to know until last week.

Anyone for the Mitsubishi 3000gt/GTO Spyder with a folding hardtop?

That must be incredibly rare - I'd never heard of them either and used to love the Japanese "supercars".

Hard to believe Peugeot did this in 1934

It probably stayed half open/ half closed most of the time. Judging the state of electrics in modern Pugs these pre war car probably ran off a hamster in a wheel.

Am I reading that right? Its done 900 miles and dropped from £23k (-the £5k off the gov.) to £7k, if you call it 11k depreciation that's over £12 a mile.
It's insane, isn't it?

Has to be some kind of depreciation record, surely?

Saw a Renault Fluence in London recently:

never seen or heard of one before or since - I assume it isnt a UK market car?
They've been available in the Middle East, Africa and China for a while with petrol engines. They've recently been launched here just as an electric version. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Renault_Fluence

BMW do hybrid versions of the 3,5 and 7 Series.

Thank you for reminding me... I saw one of these at the weekend with the roof down and meant to look up what it was. A rarer spot than I even realised then!

Saw one of these in a carpark today. I assume it's an import because they're not sold in the UK as far as I know.

Honda crosstour 4x4. Like an Accord on steroids.

You mean 3dr estate? I suppose it was for tradespeople who had no need for extra doors and hence cheaper to buy and they were only in low trim levels usually. Most of Escort rivals did 3dr estate aswell..Think they died out in.early 90s.Mk4 was last of the Escort to have them.

There's one of these in my dog walking route. Ridiculously under wheeled. That's the only thing you notice.

Saw a few Opel Astra saloons last week in Lanzarote. Look quite smart. (apologies if already posted).

Saw a VW Bora estate today. I know there's a Golf estate, but this had the front end off a Bora. It was foreign but didn't see where it was registered. Probably the worst contribution to this thread so far.
I'm sure I read somewhere that the Golf estate was actually a Bora estate underneath and was badged as such in non-UK markets?
Bar the front end they're literally identical cars. They were available in Europe with the Bora front, but it's a popular conversion in the UK, to create a Bolf, or the other way around a Gora.
Boring fact - the MK5 Golf estate is actually a Jetta estate. It has Jetta door handles and panels (and the obvious chrome front end). Golf panels don't have the line along them unlike the Jetta.
