I bet it was an E320 with the zero removed.
I've never heard of this myself, did a bit of research and found... nothing.

So yea, talking bks I suspect.

I looked, and found that the E32AMG was built in a different factory, and used the same V6 as the e320, but it was supercharged to provide 345bhp.
1st listing on Google..................... smile

Wikipedia? Or one of the links using it as a source? It' cites E32 AMG as engine nomenclature in the first paragraph and then uses C32 AMG as a header for the version of the M112 fitted to the C32 AMG, I don't know which is the correct name for the engine, but it was never fitted to an E-class from the factory.

That and it's not a quad turbo anyway, which is instantly the giveaway that he talks ste anyway.

Toyota Urban Cruiser. Looks like the sort of thing that should sell quite well, but hasn't. Probably because of the name!

Used to see quite a few round central Scotland. Also they seemed to be quite a bit cheaper to buy than their hatchback counterpart.
Coincidence? Hmmm.... wink

Must admit I didn't even know they came to the UK. I've only seen them on the continent.

Current model (OK, without the basking shark mouth) Fiesta saloon. Saw one in Canada recently, assume they're not sold in the European market but amazed they're made at all.

I really don't get GM's thinking on this one. The starting price is £24k, for that amount of money you could buy a low mileage BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc. which would have much more presence and cache.

I've never understood the mentality of this kind of post. Of course you can always find a higher spec second hand car for the price of a new one. Do you live under a rock???

You can't compare the price of new cars with used alternatives,

This comes in 2k cheaper than the VW Eos which is an actual rival

Sorry for getting your knickers in a twist, its only my opinion. wobble

I actually saw one in the flesh last weekend in Germany and its not a bad looking thing but I just can't see the market they're aiming for with it.

The answer was in the post prior to this...
VW EOS market....unless you can't see a market for that either...along with the Ford Focus, Megane CC options..etc... that'd be the marklet as I see it.

They're made by people who assume VAG & BMW have a secondary production line that puts together last years model, the cars are then driven by robots around a circuit to varying miles, they then deliver them to dealers at a massive discount so buyers can feel smug having bought a nice but older German badge for the same price as a more up to date ford.

Ok, I take the point. I assume that GM have done their market research to have confidence to build it or they presumably wouldn't have but based on my own personal observations it seems a very small sector of the overall market to aim at, and therefore is potentially a risk. I've seen very few VW Eos (what's the plural of Eos?) on the road, can't recall ever seeing a Ford Focus convertible and although I've seen more Renault Megane CCs I wouldn't exactly say there are huge numbers of them around. I'm not a badge snob but it seems a difficult sector for those brands not necessarily perceived as premium to pursue. Good luck to them anyway.

Anyway back on topic, have we had the Suzuki Splash yet? I saw one the other day and genuinely didn’t know what it was till I was able to read the badge.

I like the look of that Citroën C4L.

Went and had a look at the Cascada, and it was all going well until we got to the price. For a Vauxhall? Really? OK, the 5 years interest free very nearly swung it, but no, went for a second hand EOS instead.
