Old thread resurected, but this car genuinely surprised me...

Suzuki Kizashi - one went shooting past me on the motorway. Had to Google "Suzuki Saloon" as had no idea what it was.

It looked fab though, but looks like some pretty horrific depreciation looking at the What Car new price!

Look at dem exhausts! biggrin

Pass on of these going to my mum`s and could never work out what it was looks great in the flesh, I had to do the same as you and go on the Suzuki web site to find out what it was smile

I took a punt and bought one of these last week, seems very nice and different from the norm, drives very well too. Time will tell if anyone else shares my enthusiasm for it........

Very popular in Turkey called the Symbol and I have been driving round in one as a hire car for a week - £11 a day and actually decent fun. Full on Bluetooth and media integration with the iPhone, A/C, fairly roomy and I have to say a bit of a giggle to drive.

Decent enough for the very crap roads round here and cheap as chips.

Toyota FJ Cruiser.

Mrs H and myself are looking for something as a car for having here in Turkey and this is high on the list... I cannot explain why I like it I just do! I think it is the mini-hummer esqe feel.

Been seeing a lot of those here in Luxembourg since last year, most in silver grey or yellow - someone must have been importing them with great success!

There's a 320d parked in my street with X-drive badges. I had no idea that BMW were producing 4wd versions of its saloons.
They've been producing 4wd drive saloons for LHD Europe for quite a while, they have only started making RHD ones quite recently.
Errrrr longer than quite recently, you could buy an E34 525ix

There was a black one of these for sale in the UK a few days ago for about £20k, if memory serves.

Saw a VW Bora estate today. I know there's a Golf estate, but this had the front end off a Bora. It was foreign but didn't see where it was registered. Probably the worst contribution to this thread so far.

Saturn Sky, I believe. The "successor" to the VX220. As sales show, it didn't really deserve the moniker.

I've seen a few 500 XXLs and they are truly dreadful. I cannot imagine a single buyer to have any interest in cars or driving.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the Golf estate was actually a Bora estate underneath and was badged as such in non-UK markets?

Bar the front end they're literally identical cars. They were available in Europe with the Bora front, but it's a popular conversion in the UK, to create a Bolf, or the other way around a Gora.
