Voted for 993 Turbo because the shape is sooooo beautiful (not necessarily because last of the air cooled)
Also really like the Yuppie favourite especially in Guards Red and 996 Turbo in Grey takes me right back to when I was leaving school and starting university ..... Memories :-)

I've voted for 996, because its criminally under-rated by the market these days. It was the last 911 turbo set up primarily for the road, rather than the Nurburgring, so its very fast on normal bumpy british roads... and in its day cleaned up most group tests, also winning ECOTY, Autocar handling day, etc, something neither the vaunted 993 or the newer 997s ever managed. Mainly however they are getting so cheap now, its the only turbo I might ever be able to afford!! So on that basis currently its my favourite-just- over the equally unloved 997.1 Turbo!!

964 Turbo S for me.....ultimate and rarest version of the 'original' so to speak.

And original modified from new by RUF, 930 flatnose would be a close second choice laugh

I have to admit, I have a real soft spot for the 930 Flatnose.

Whilst I agree with you on them being good value I can't agree on the road setup, a 997 turbo on PASM comfort is much more compliant on the bumpy UK roads than a 996 turbo.

The only car to have ever scared me is our Ruf Flatnose, don't get me wrong, I've scared myself in other stuff but never before had I driven a car which feels like it is trying to kill me (and that includes Carrera GTs, 959s, GT2s, Ferraris, Lamborghinis etc).

Do you still work here? I'm assuming you don't park it around the back!
I am hoping it is still parked in my garage.

I could very well workthere but I don't know where there is.
The same place you worked six months ago? FR or DS?

964 Turbo 3.6S in black please, or a 997 GT2 RS with the carbon bits colour-coded (that carbon bonnet looks horrible IMHO

I read the PH story and wondered what a 964 turbo flatnose would look like

not good!

Me too. It's what I voted.

I remember when I was a kid climbing over the fence to watch a Pro Am golf tournament at Moor Park and they had two Flatnoses on pedestals in front of the main house.

They looked awesome with a capital fk YEAH!
