I had to vote for the only one I've been passengered in: 930 SE Flat Nose. Luckily, I get to experience it often thanks to my FiL

A good old yuppie 930 wins my vote by a long shot. Best looking one and, as has been said, really defines an era.

Has to be a 964 turbo 3.6 followed by the 993 GT2

I love 911 Turbos, but the 993 stands head and shoulders above the rest, only the 997 GT2 RS comes close to it for me.

That GT2 RS is a stunning car in it's own right mind:



I love the way the GT2s have air intakes on the wings, super cool.

That exact picture is my desktop wallpaper at work. This is a bit like asking for my favourite film though, it varies daily. Today I actually voted for the 964 Turbo (not the Turbo S) but tomorrow I might vote for the 993.

Can't I just have one of each then I'll do a monthly report and after 20 or 30 years we can add up the figures and the one I've driven most will be my favourite. Just a thought.

Very tough choice, but it has to be the 993 Turbo for me, but only just. The 964 Turbo S takes 2nd place, which is kind of funny, as I saw an utterly gorgeous 964 Turbo S parked up yesterday, which I was drooling over after I'd finished college. It was a nice deep metallic black, with a lovely red interior, and it had a lovely pair of bucket seats. My mate thought I was bonkers for liking an "ancient Porsche", and was disgusted by the fact I'd rather have that 964 then a brand new 991.

Old is Gold.
