If you look at the comments there is a view from above showing the building and how far it is from the motorway. Sounds like he was going too fast, truck had pulled out to overtake seeing it was clear (assuming normal speeds which most people do). He very quickly came across the truck pulling out and had to bail.

Just been reading the replies. It seems there is a slim chance he could be taken to jail, due to the offence being in Texas. That would give the punk something to really moan about.

Whilst that would be really funny, I doubt it will come to that.

His Veyron's radiator broke down as well so it's a good chunk of karma alright. Not quite the $200 000 karma points he extorted from Koenigsegg as "a bonus" in exchange for civility, but we're getting there. wink

These comments were amusing in light of the topic at hand:

"To everyone bc* wont care. He is a ignorant ass and he got all his money from his family so he will just go buy another one with his big inheritance. L4P is a bunch of friends is all. Know one from any of the other rally's ever join them. Honestly bc* never worked a day in his life for all that money. L4p tends to cover up anyone bringing his money to light because bc wants to make it sound like he made a 100 Million in 10 years which is all bs. His family owns sweatshops hince his family being big with nike and such. I at least worked for what little I have. Not to mention he also has a Bugatti ss and all. I want to ask him what it's like to drive a 3 Million dollar car while his family pays there employee's 3$ a day?"

"More than a a few chuckles originating from people that know Mr. Chen this evening."

I don't think any of this would have been so bad had 'BC' not threatened to use his influence and money to prevent Koenigsegg from selling any cars in the US.

"You'll never work in this town again!"

That's just not a necessary threat for a car with bubbling paint, even if it is a $1.5m car.

Rumor has it he called Porsche and demanded to get in front of the line. They politely told him "no" and he used all his charm and eloquence to ask them for a sum of "$200000(deposit)+$200000" for his silence (sounds familiar, hah!). Porsche made him a counter offer of the deposit+$000000 in return for their silence and cancelled his order.

German efficiency. biggrin

The more I read about that utter bellend, the more I dislike him. I wouldn't do any business with him even if my life depended on it. Stupid fool.

Blimey, I just checked out that thread and it was like strolling into some parallel World of incredibly rich ten year olds.

So who IS that BC bloke? He seems to have a rather impressive garage.

hehe

On a more serious note, what an utter turd that guy is. Hopefully all the manufacturers will soon learn to avoid him at all costs!

I'm not following those links because it's too depressing - but I had a mate who sold 'premium' cars for a while (mostly Ferraris and Astons) and he could tell you some stories about the people he had to deal with.

If you think expensive cars are mostly sold on their stats and what motoring journalists think of them tho - how can I put this - you couldn't be more wrong if you tried.

The things people expect - the way they expect to be treat - the services they expect to receive - are mind-boggling - and this was back in the late 90s when he was mostly dealing with 'old money' - I can't imagine it's any better now with the Towie generation in charge of the money ;0
