He doesn't, that's obviously a PR stunt. I've seen him rocking around Goodison before a few games in a Mercedes C Class.

nigel de jong, now ex man city, who has some kind of dealership in holland (where he's originally from) used to drive a red 599GTO with black roof to the games, with no after market modifications - maybe more 'obvious' than some of the cooler cars mentioned in this thread but still showed taste, especially in not getting it in a silly colour scheme or with after market mods

I'm sure one of the Premiership clubs (possibly Pompy) used to give out a Reliant three wheeler as a kind of "Donkey of the week" award, for general training ground silliness. The poor player who 'won' the honour then had to pray that someone else made a (bigger) fool of themselves fairly sharpish, so that they could get out of the laughing-stock-mobile and back into whatever two-ton Swarovski encrusted hippocrockagorillapig GTi VDP Ghia Pininfarina that they thought had more class.

If I was on the kind of money some of those boys make, I'd have some kind of 'Super Sleeper' with lots of luxury/power/speed heavily disguised under modest, pin sharp bodywork.

Many years ago, there was a Japanese car dealer in Bolton called Warrender cars. I was told that was where Giggs bought the car from and they still had his cheque in a frame on the wall.
