You see loads of these parked up around Tarifa or based in Morocco for trips down Africa. So long as you can afford to get it there fuel is about 30p in much of Africa, its dirt cheap in Egypt apparently.


I'd love to park that Ural on my drive, what would the neighbours think hehe

They are used for holidaying in Africa mostly.
I guess you drive to Gibraltar, cross the straight then you can go where ever the mood takes you.

I'd take this camping to a proper campsite, amongst the slacks 'n' Rover 75 brigade.

And in the main picture for this thread, in what appears to be a lovely grassy pasture, why has the only patch of mud been selected to put the ladder down?

You'd have to see the location to understand the parking, my house is on a very, very steep hill, the road is about a 1:3 gradient. He'd jammed it in as far as it would go on to my driveway (the front wheels were just grazing the walls either side of the drive, which was 4ft below ground level).
