A lot of them have printouts of the full service history and any items that have been changed and reported mine was serviced every 5k. To be fair its most likely been retired due to its age more than mileage definately a bargin. I don't see why people knock ex police cars, I wouldn't buy a beat car but when it comes to the big estates I would have another anyday of the week instead of forking out a few k more for a civi one, yes its gonna be poverty spec but for a workhorse you can't go wrong.

I have had a few 150i diesel jobbies.

They are pretty quick for a diesel !

Any way, we all know hire cars are the fastest anyway.
