Other stuff ...........in the wrong order.

After leaving the Ferrari Galleria i went down the road to Fiorano, the Ferrari test track.

Access to inside it is rare if ever available but it's not exactly hard to peer through a side

gate ,nothing on it to say i couldn't poke camera in there, and anyway if you want to spy

on Ferraris latest products just buy a flat overlooking the track.

spotted another Barchetta for sale in a Fiat showroom, they do do colours other than silver

the prancing horse statue on a roundabout next to Ferrari HQ

granstand to watch the action from....^^^^^

Similar pic to my profile in the other car, last time i was just passing through.

I took the scenic route back to base via the Passo di Goggio which it turns was closed

earlier that day for a Hillclimb event, which if i had known about would have gone to

instead. These 2 Panteras were parked in a layby waiting for the heavens to stop emptying.

I couldn't not go past Mugello without doing that ^^^

and the roundabouts are decorated with Ferrari bodies too

So over 3400 miles between 6th and 19th of May,completed reliably in a 16 year old Fiat

only owned since December.

Costs, a lot of fuel used, petrol more expensive in Italy than France, motorway tolls soon

mount up,the tunnels through the Alps are over 40euro each but you can save by buying a return

ticket.

Reliability good, just some niggly faults with the car but not anything to spoil the fun.

Hood down most of the time but rain was torrential when it came.

Italian drivers, don't ask, just go with the flow and keep chilled expecting to be overtaken just

about anywhere by the fastest thing in Italy.....the old Panda........laugh

That's it,sorry if i bored you.

Great write up and photos! Did you have a passenger or go it alone? I'm planning some sort of Euro trip this year, finances permitting.

Good man. We're still dawdling back through France; currently charging around bits of the Route Napolean.

Will hopefully post some stuff when we're back at the weekend.
