Tatty around the edges, but that's my favourite sort of car, no worries about car park dings etc.
The rest should be fairly bomb-proof!
£750

That is bonkers value. I'd go so far as to say it's low mileage too! biggrin
Check the drains, friend of mine had one all but written off by water ingress reaching an ecu (driver foot well area).

That is superb value. I've got the 2.4 version (also Executive & manual) that I picked up for £2k at 96k miles and as an everyday car it is fantastic. Exceptionally well equipped, much better driving position than many of it's contemporaries, and (in 2.4 form at least) no slouch either. The 2.0 should be better on fuel though.

Being Executive spec that should have all the goodies including my personal favourite- the electric tailgate thumbup

That one listed even has the roof bars too- the only optional extra mine didn't come with, and I was quoted over half the cost of that particular car to acquire a pair separately! rotate

I'm incredibly tempted by this for £389!

Trying to stop myself from ringing to find out how much MOT it has...

Of course... I've just finished a long night shift, tired isn't the word.

It's got a full years ticket!!

Edit to add: advisories aren't really that scary either for something so cheap. It would make an excellent Eco-snotter

Re. the AX: I ran mine on straight veg oil; it was a bit smoother and seemed to have a bit more midrange power. I wouldn't want to do any serious distance in one but as an around-town tool, they're pretty good.

Just, er, don't crash!!

Many years ago I had an AX 1.4 Forte (GT without the alloys and spoiler) - it was the most uncomfortable car I have ever owned, but was fantastic to drive along a B-road. The steering wheel, seat and pedals are all so offset you end up twisted. My 1 hr each way commute almost disabled me! Had to go after 3 months. frown

Very handsome in a simple, well proportioned way. Would make a fantastic runabout, shame I don't need it...

(The usual disclaimer of 'I know nothing about it/have no vested interest, etc...')
Surprised that's still for sale they are very good cars. I got given one a few years ago, it needed a clutch and had nearly 200k miles on it but there were no rattles and everything worked.

I fitted a clutch and used it for nearly two years until some idiot fan into it and the insurance company cat b it. They did however give me £1500 for it!

AX sold before I could get a look... Probably for the best! Especially because of the appalling safety as pointed out above!

This looks good for £699 if anyone's interested.

Mondeo ST24. I've bought a couple of cars from the seller, decent enough chap and gives an honest description.

Doesn't it just. I'd happily run that.
