Gravel drive points too!
Probably the ultimate go anywhere, leave anywhere car.

If it wasn't precisely 303 miles from my front door, I'd be tempted. Truth is that a days wages and a flight make this well out of thread budget for me.

Seems cheap but isn't airbag light an MOT fail these days? Not sure if it is an expensive fix though

Weirdly the rules for airbags lights are quite different to the ones for ABS. With ABS if the light doesn't come on and go out during the ignition sequence the car fails. With the SRS light as long as it doesn't come on, you're good so removing the bulb allows the car to pass. Could be arbitrarily expensive to fix if anything like my w124 including miles of wiring, seat belt sensors and a dedicated ecu... luckily mine was a plug unplugged so all good now, but it might come down to chance.

Bought my E39 tourer for £680 with airbag light on. 5 minute fix at no cost! smile (You will need to cancel fault code though, I have the kit!)

That's a silly amount of car for the money. I'd prefer a bit of cow, but I still would.

I really like the look of one of these, especially a pre facelift model. On the list of things to replace my E46 with should it blow up smile

Yep, looks like the coolant hoses weren't reseated properly after the timing belt change. I'm going to be using it while I await the claim settlement providing I can actually insure it in the mean time
