not sure if this is worth the money or not.

I much prefer these older ones. Very demure in comparison

I have an offer you can refuse.

A free x reg Peugeot 106, to someone who will collect.

Mot till September, tax till February.
No scratch free panels, dents on some, etc...
Its got a really rubbish cat on it that needs to run really hot to get through mot for emissions (what could be sourced at a garage after the weld for the lambda connector rusted through and left a dangling lambda last year and a very loud car.)

Other than the emissions which could throw up something on the mot would recommend having a look and the rear brakes. Its due an oil change as I haven't gotten around to doing it.

Will come with Haynes manual.
Cambelt is due a change in approx 2 years.

Car is located in Farnborough with my brother as I'm leaving the country tomorrow. If no one wants/collects by the end of next weekend it'll visit the scrapyard.

Sorry for the late reply ..Thanks everyone for the comments on the Volvo smile She is a lovely comfy car. And for the record it is on tiny 15's laugh
The trouble is now the temptation to spend money on it to make it even better, ( shocks are a bit saggy ) and preventing problems .. I dived in at the deep end and did my 1st ever gearbox fluid change (£20 for the Dextron3 fluid ) as my 1st ever home DIY servicing and we'll chuffed! biggrin and annoyingly discovered it needs 2 tyres due to uneven wear/ bad alignment so that's next week. Very happy with it tho'.. amazing value for such a lot of car.

Steve
You'd better get used to buying new tyres with one of those.

Deserves to be saved. Rare car, obviously been loved, still has the T-bar roof panels bag! If only I could persuade my girlfriend that these were, against all the odds, cool?

I may have found a new owner, should be picking it up tomorrow. I'd asked a mate if he knew anyone who wanted I yesterday but he couldn't recall anyone at the time however looks like his son will be getting it smile

my sister had one as a company car . the bag had straps on it , unfortunately it had female ends on the bag and where it was supposed to strap into. build quality was not quite what it should have been . went well , it was a vvc i think.

Completely agree, just got mine back on the road after an engine rebuild so there's one more 1.8VVC back in circulation, roof bag and a near complete tool kit still intact (today in fact, taxed and tested, had to have the sills welded mind, the guy that did them did a damned good job as well, and brakes sorted). Gave it a good run out, putting a smile on my face in the process, and it gets a pretty good reception as well, they still turn heads if today is anything to go by anyway.

As for convincing the GF, get her to take a test drive? Though I prefer the post '96 models with the revised interior and the five spoke alloys that where only fitted to these cars (that would go out of the window if offered the 2ltr turbo version though biggrin ).

Would avoid the seller on principle tbh.

Nice selection there, 0a. That Jag looks phenomenal for under 1k. The LS seems uncared for, plus the Triangle tyres on the front would also put me off, I may be a bit of a hypocrite saying that as my ZT came with Landsail tyres on the front which are about as budget as you can get (they're actually quite decent, still got them on).

Just as a side note, my £770 ZT is still going strong *touch wood*, I've now covered nearly 20k miles in it since purchase.
