Are Saab seats as comfy as they look?
very, like a warm cosseting armchair, mind you it gets a bit toasty when the switch shorts out and they go full power, overheat trips then full power

Bought this 9-5 Auto with LPG on a bit of a whim last week from Ebay. £550 with 6 month MOT and only done 94k miles, nice folder full of history with it too.

Cosmetically its a bit tired, the alloys are a bit crusty, the interior has some wear marks, the lacquer is peeling in a few small places and she wants some back to black applying to the black trims but mechanically she seems very sound & the LPG kit running excellent so far.

Just need to decide if I'm keeping my 9-3 aero now or not...

Very envious , good work sir

'tis the season ;-).

I paid £1700 for a fully specced 2005 '95 petrol estate four years ago and it hasn't missed a beat. Lovely.

Got a second hand replacement.....and it does the same thing! Removing the switch is the only way to stop it

and this looks like it might be cheap. Is this the model that explodes when you look at it?

I have found a 1998 BMW 318i Touring with 151,000 miles on the clock. It's priced at £350.00. However, the brake warning light is on.

I'm after a car as a project, so would this be a good idea? Too expensive?

Sounds a reasonable price. Brake warning light or ABS warning light? If it's the ABS light then you might be lucky and it just needs a speed sensor replacing. From my experience it usually ends up being the ABS pump that's knackered though which costs about £200 to have rebuilt.

nice car, as for the seats I'd junk em and put leather in, shouldn't be expensive. Not sure I'd consider the tape deck an option worth bragging about though

Ok. Thanks for the info. smile

Looks like the one with a circle and 3 dots either side. No mention of ABS in the circle though, so think it is the brake one.

On further inspection, it looks like the brake pad warning light. Could be a sensor or some new pads.

Oh yes, just found out it only has MOT until March. Could be worth a punt though.

Is there rust? Look at the tailgate, under the rear doors, back of front wheelarch. Look underneath. This is a deal breaker.

Thanks. Will do. Handy pointers there.

I'm after my first project car to learn spannering on and this seems ideal. It's based in Norfolk and I'm in Lincs, so I'll need to arrange a visit and an inspection.

Good ad, but generally seen as bad form (and against forum rules) to post your own ad.
