Bought this as a £900 interim - T Sport 190
Actually quite fun, must resist the urge to improve it.
One of the rare occasions where 'aircon just needs a regas' is true - had a mostly empty can from a previous shed, 5mins later and ice cold A/C.
I love it when that happens!Actually quite fun, must resist the urge to improve it.

Nice car!

That looks really nice. Every time I see one I keep thinking I should have got one instead of my money-pit £500 MR2. Actually quite fun, must resist the urge to improve it.

Would love to see a readers cars thread for this! I've seen a lot for sale with a high number of miles on (140k+) at some very good prices, which would suggest that they wear them well.Actually quite fun, must resist the urge to improve it.

I am on the lookout for one of these. At that price I assume the mileage is over 100k-how does it feel? Reason I ask is my old Honda felt fine at 120k miles and was still taught whilst I just picked up a 70k BMW that I am looking to do a full suspension refresh sooner than later!
It's 147k miles - some low life keyed part of the bonnet and rear panel, hence a low price.I keep having to stop myself looking at bodyshop/repair companies, and remember that it's just an interim.
It feels like it's a light car, so much more 'tinny' when closing doors compared to the outgoing e39. Power is not great until 6000rpm+ when the cam lift happens, then it's more fun. Steering is much more direct than the e39, and it feels quite small to drive.
Engine feel decent, suspension also feels OK, I think it's held back a bit by the tyres which are new, but not good.
Another 100bhp and I'd think about keeping it as a toy.

What an absolute bargain! If the dodgy paintwork is the only issue, £200 is an absolute steal for that. That's less than I'd expect a non runner with no MOT to go for, let alone something with MOT until Jan which starts and drives wsurfa said:

Was that the car listed on autotrader for ~£1300, where the same dealer also had an almost identical one with something like 80-90k miles for £2k+? I keep having to stop myself looking at bodyshop/repair companies, and remember that it's just an interim.

That's a bargain.I'm just back from a couple of weeks in Malta, so now the bargain estate or 4x4 search begins properly!
If you see anything please don't hold back from posting up!! - the nearer to Manchester the better, but I may travel for something interesting or bargaintastic.

It now has a new badge, working aircon, new boot cushions/catches to remove a squeaking sound, new wheel centre caps and may get a seat repair for a small tear.
Must stop fixing it up.....

No it was a private sale via Pistonheads £950 listed - it needs a new front badge hence the massive 5% drop to £900 selling price .
