Spotted that on Autotrader a couple of weeks back, I'm surprised it's not sold yet, looks great for the price. There's something nice about the older Audis. uk_vette said:
I bought a 2007. 150bhp CDTI. Vectra C
700.00
Needed DMF.
Did the DMF, Clutch, etc.
Parts 300
Labour 200
Drives brilliant.
Steady run, 60 mph gives me 63 mpg, brim to brim
Good going that. Surprised at the MPG - the immaculate 07 plate one I had in stock was the 120 8v and it only ever got to about 47mpg700.00

Currently getting 40 at a push from my 05 150 although it has a leaky injector so no surprise!
Note - both estates, I guess they're a bit heavy

£250. MOT due soon, but looks reasonably tidy for the money. Assuming there's nothing major wrong with it of course. There is some cheap stuff about on Gumtree these days!
Most underpowered Volvo in history. Don't expect to get it up any hills.£250. MOT due soon, but looks reasonably tidy for the money. Assuming there's nothing major wrong with it of course. There is some cheap stuff about on Gumtree these days!

That's astounding value, what's the catch?!
Missing from the bonnet by the look of the photo I was indeed a bit economical with the truth. Of course there is a slight drawback with any cheap BMW.
There was a second part of the package
Slung the new engine in today after giving it a full service/general clean up and should have it running this week.

What's the bet he's driven it to the nearest posh estate to take the photos, but in reality lives on a housing estate that's rough as ....I looked at a sub <1K car recently where everything stacked up in its favour, including the nice estate it was being sold from. Upon viewing, it was in an area that made the backstreets of Baghdad look welcoming.

It gives me a lot of confidence if the seller is articulate and eloquent. I know this theory could fall down, mind

Nice looking V70 T5 for not a million miles off thread budget (seller is accepting offers).
As long as the gearbox isnt stting itself, this looks like a great car.
Had one myself a few years back. Performance is quite in a straight line - I datalogged my std. car at 6,5s 0-60 and a 14s 1/4 mile.

Interesting to see it going for that much, I need to shift on my 2003 plate (04 MY with the important electronic facelift) geartronic T5 with 130K on it soon. Maybe it will be worth selling privately after all - the dealer offered a generous £600 for it. I was thinking of just keeping it and running it into the ground. As long as the gearbox isnt stting itself, this looks like a great car.

I think the T5 values have turned a corner.
Most of the dross has been destroyed when they were £800.
I think mine might fall into the dross category sooner rather than later. I've noticed an odd squeak/rub in the steering rack as you're winding on lock, and that is never a good sign. It needs a bit of love and a good clean but it's been a superb and bullet proof family wagon, the only two real problems with it are fuel consumption and the dreadful turning circle. Oh and my wife managed to smash the sat nav screen by poor packaging of ikea boxes :-(Most of the dross has been destroyed when they were £800.
picked up a 2004 Octavia 130 tdi with 9 months mot after my 406 head gasket went.
full service history, oil changes on the button.
only faults rear brake pad and disk fubar, and a lot of bushes worn, noisey over bumpy ground.
Every which make of tyre on wheels.
-1st job change rear brakes and disks.
new set of tyres
remap to 180bhp.
bushes.
paid 800 so with all jobs will be a 1k car, engine runs well.
