That looks absolutely brilliant for under £500. MOT history looks good as well.

I was seriously considering it until I realised Peterborough was over 5 hours away from me!

Always had a soft spot for Vectras...

For an extra £100 I would have the vectra every time. Makes that metro look overpriced.

It's a couple of hours from me...

Extra shedding points if you buy unseen, get a shiply delivery quote and haggle most of the delivery cost off of the purchase price biggrin

Absolutely! I know what I'd rather have as a reliable run around too!

Bit retro though and probably good fun, I wouldn't want to deal with the rust though...

Haha! You may be surprised, my old man had his car delivered from Carlisle to southampton for £215 couldn't believe it!

I suppose that's quite a lot to haggle off a 500 quid car mind you!

Picked up a rather nice bargain at the weekend

2000 Lexus IS 200 Auto with 103K in silver, decent alloys (not rotting like most IS's of this age) Interior is mint. Drives and pulls really well and with good tyres all round.

MOT till Nov16 and just serviced with a glut of paperwork

All for a bargain £700 !

Sounds good, well done. Got one of those on my shortlist should my '97 V70 fail its MoT expensively next month.

Wonder what other damage lurks behind that rear bumper? Looks like the donor car was red!
