Do you have x-Ray vision or is there another picture somewhere showing the near-side front?

Or is it the silicate that does it?

Even if it has had a bump for £250 with a long MOT who cares? As long as the head lights work and there are no dangerous loose bits.

Decent almera low mileage and good mot history

It's basically free.

I'm v impressed with my almera which cost 300 quid and has 43k on the clock. It's a boring drive, but whilst I doing the house up its perfect for what I want despite there being a scratch on one side and a dent in the front near side wing.

I'll keep mine for 18 months or so and then I might up the budget to two grand and treat myself :-)

Short MOT and potential for timing chain woes would put me off that to be honest - they're good cars when they work...

When we are talking about this sort of money, it's worth a punt

The oil in mine looks ok, but I'll give it a cheap oil and filter change in a few weeks, which will cost all of £20 odd quid. I won't service it other than that unless anything needs doing .

That one I linked to has a fine mot history and should unless something nasty has happened to it in the past few months should pass its mot without issue.

If the timing chain snaps, as long as it's local, I'll park it up, call the scrap man and collect my fifty quid.

If it happens when I'm on the road, I'll have to swallow the recovery cost .

Buying these cheap cars if you just want a shed to loaf about in is a no brainer I mo.

MOT history is only really an indication of the testers it's been to rather than any actual indication of how it's been treated - I could take the same car to two different garages and get a full page of advisories from one and a clean sheet from the other

Plenty of sheds out there with more than a few weeks MOT for the same kind of money

Do you mean front off side?

If you can see damage to the near side then I would like to hire your services when I'm looking for my next car!

I've had a few and currently have a facelift 3.2 MV6 estate on my driveway.

Not as tidy as the one in the picture but they're great cars.

A nice and honest looking 205 XS for £900.

Not the cheapest one I've seen but within budget and has a pretty much flawless MOT history.

Based in Lincolnshire.

Its been suffering from extreme corrosion especially around the suspension, failed half of it's mot's, last year failed for brake pipes, and has been in a crash, being sold without any sort of description that it has a crash, with no evidence of full service history being sold dodgily in Sheffield, not showing as insured, with no tax.
