Leave the other half at home.

Go for it.
I leave the other at home all the time!
After almost 30 years married, I need some space now and again!
Recently rode a Royal Enfield down to the Rhone Alps with some friends to a French Rally.
Lots of drink, food and laughter!
Off to France again on the 14th, this time with the roof down (hopefully) to spend a few days with some mates at one of their house in the Dordoigne.
Lots of wine and cheese will be consumed no doubt!
Shame you'll probably be back by then?
But if not and you fancy a decent Steak, try Chez Fred in Allamans near Riberac, as we will frequent it often for a few days before driving up to Le Mans.

I have done a few trips solo from Cornwall across the whole of France to the NW coast of Italy, instead of the Lamborghini it was a 4x4 Panda (read slower than the 2wd version) and instead of the guitar it was 2 Jack Russels.
Brilliant fun, I cannot play the guitar so I cannot compare, but the dogs were fantastic companions at all the places we stopped. Also travelling at approx 65mph for most of it you really take in the scenery, now you can probably see why my wife decided to fly!

Loneliness is good
I don't like loneliness; I do, however, like and place a great deal of value on solitude.I'm usually a gregarious type, never happier than when in the bosom of family and/or with friends, but there are times when I just want to spend a couple of days swimming in Lake Me, doing what I want, when I want, with no reference to any others.
tl;dr: I'm occasionally a properly anti-social tt and unashamedly so.
ETA: OP, go for it and enjoy yourself without guilt. Nice motor to do it in, too.
I fancied a holiday last year, and my wife was too busy with work to come.
No problems. Me and the dog, a week away in our place above a beach in SWest Scotland. Full fridge, a pile of books, dog food, and a bar nearby.
It was great. And I won the pub quiz after being invited to make up a team.

I'm a biker so usually do at least one bike trip a year where I leave the Mrs at home (she does ride but isn't really in to long distances). I prefer to go with a mate or two though, the last couple of trips to the alps have been fantastic, 2 weeks away camping with a mate. You can't beat gettign away from it all and hooning round some nice twisty roads in the middle of nowhere. Enjoy.
I've even got a couple of friends who take guitars with them on bike trips (and one who makes guitars so we always go and have a drool round his workshop when visiting Ireland).
The Mrs goes away on a few trips with her dive club so I don't get any grief for doing trips on my own.

Last year I had to spend a week out in our French house doing it up ready for the season (after a bad flood and damage). Builders finished the house, and then I turned up and decorated/built Ikea furniture etc.
Nearest neighbour is 500m away, but I have access to Freeview and radio.
Was lovely!
