Pretty sure it's this. F1 car's rarely spit yellow flames anymore too.....almost always blue backfires which you can see in the night races.
That Top Gear episode when they were in Italy with Jezza giving that orange Aventador around Imola, that was spouting blue flame from the exhausts as well.

I wish Mercedes had advertised the C63 AMG in such a manner

yikes

I'd need new undergarments every time it was on.

Imagine if you were around kids and it came on? You'd be in trouble...

Yep R8 advert is amazing!
I have a feeling that there is a lot of computerised imagery used for that video!

I too can vouch for the Audi advert being outstanding in full dolby surround sound at the cinema.

it was the first advert shown before Star Trek, there was the usual muffled chat until the ad started, just about every bloke stopped in their tracks and paid full attention to the screen. with a few whispered 'you're a child' comments from disgruntled/ignored mrs'!!

My mrs however, enjoyed it as much as I did. and said it was as good as I'd told her it was! biggrin yep she's a keeper wink

That Audi advert is the mutts nuts, loved the full bore upshifts with the engine bouncing on the mounts, anyone know if it's going to play on US TV? That way I can crank up the surround sound!

I was in Sri Lanka a few weeks ago, and lots of the TV ads are from India. VW Polo GT advert included hand-brake turns and wheelspin starts, with a child in the back seat. I presume it's all about "Watch this son, see how cool your Dad is"... was quite bizarre.

can't see the handbrake, but well you get the idea http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyq-YVdPdDA

My fave thing about the Jag advert is that they've gone for bright red! Could this be the start of the return of colour to our grey (metalic) and dismal roads? smile

It looks more sporty. A bit of colour is no bad thing.

Strange, isn't it? ...... Audi has the best AND worst ad currently on TV.

The best is the R8, obviously. Sound gets turned up to 11 every time it's on .... and not a single word thank goodness.

Yet Audi have also sanctioned the most hideous, pompous, self-important, awful ad on TV. I am of course referring to the 'beautifully engineered Audi ESSS KEYOOOHH FAYVE' ..... AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!!! punch

have watched this ad on vimeo about a dozen times now with it cranked up as loud as it'll go... awesome ad.

...even more awesome for the fact that you can imagine there's a petrolhead just out of shot giving the moronic idiots at the advertising regulators the finger!
