Remember this guy? Well, he died.
Discussion
Was the guy actually that skilled or just well practised and didnt care about potential consequences ?
I can slide a car about a bit but I dont as it is generally frowned upon and when practising it is easy to get it wrong and damage your P and J, I am sure if pretty much any of us didnt give a toss and did what he did or had a circuit and some old, powerful RWD cars we could certainly improve our skills to the point where we could judge it a lot better than currently.

While I think the guy driving has (had) some talent (the E34 with the 3.8 lump is around 330hp so a fairly lively old school RWD ride), I would agree he's nowhere in the league of some of the Japanese drift scene/touge racing blokes.
Add in the fact he's driving like this on congested, narrow, bumpy roads with other motorists in much slower vehicles, and I'm not surprised things ended badly.
There were definitely some moments in that film where I feel he came very close to having a massive accident, or potentially wiping out a pedestrian.
Sad, but inevitable I'm afraid.

i won't make any pretence and being quite glad that his "Coming Soon" at the end will never be filmed. This video is just absolutely shocking. A monumental bellend that deserved what he got. I just hope no innocent people were hurt when he went.
fking hell!!!! I've just seen that video and have now re evaluated my opinion. All I can say is, thank fk that bloke at 55 seconds wasn't listening to his I Pod or engrossed in a phone call. Then he nearly bins it into that Shogun at 3:45, Then from 6:40 onward is without question some of the most reckless, dangerous and plain scary driving I've ever witnessed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotat...

Not good. Not good at all.

He wasn't even the driver when he was killed.
But given the manager in which he drove, he could well have been. Those videos are bloody scary to watch; not because of the environment but because of the sheer number of innocent people who could've been caught up in his and his cohorts' antics.Levin said:

Could have, should have but didn't and he wasn't driving when he was killed was he. Lets just stick to the facts.Biker's Nemesis said:

What if he had run down a school trip or your Mum or Dad.
Silly . End of.
Or, what if he'd led a political party that ultimately took the world to War? Or massacred a busload of children? Or ate kittens??Silly . End of.
End of!
What Ashley said was clearly relevant as it as a forseeable risk of driving like a tool. What you said not so.

Thats his profile on 'Need for Drive'
Whilst I agree his driving was dangerous, there is no question that he had some serious skills - such a shame that talent like this has been lost at just 25! RIP
Going by the link in the OP I'd question that he has "serious skills". Nothing there that would get him above qualifying last at a UK drift competition. Thats his profile on 'Need for Drive'

I remember that one, there were a few threads before the accident where a few people were concerned about his attitude and ability and asked him to be careful.
The thread were they put it together is here.

That is sobering reading, and the thread where they gave him good advice, and it dawns on them that it was him...The thread were they put it together is here.

"Why was he allowed to drive it on a goodam runway at 3AM? Maybe some of the authorites might like to answer that.
Out on the road he could have taken his chances. We cant do much about that. We can control other environments though.
These cars are not designed for airstrips. Planes are for that"
