Anyone else following this? http://www.jetreaction.net/: Richard Brown's Jet Reaction 2 wheeled thrust powered streamliner which has now progressed to the stage of running in the UK and the team are now looking at raising the finance to travel to Bonneville next year with the aim setting a 400+ mph record, if successful Richard would the first Briton to hold the record since 1937!

Quick heads up - Both the latest project Jet Reaction and Richard Brown's previous rocket powered two wheeler Gillette Mach 3 Challenger that ran to a peak speed of 365mph at Bonneville in 1999 will be at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The team are looking for sponsors to get them back to the Salt Flats to push the new streamliner through the 400+ mark.
