Fixed the car without 'running in circles bumping into things' or going to a garage as I don't get paid for another 2 weeks and would rather have a roof over my head. But thanks for all the very helpful comments and have a nice day!

I once worked with a woman from New Zealand. She got a flat battery as well.

Light-hearted joshing =/= mean.

This is a really weird thread. An adult on the other side of the world asks her dad to diagnose a fault with her car, he gives a load of internet people a second-hand account and pretty much dismisses them all. I don't know what to make of this other than two related people have little initiative.
Agreed.

If aliens reviewed this thread they'd never invade the Earth.
On the contrary.

Struggling to fix a transportation module at 2 nano light years = further evidence that we'll most likely be easy pickings.

Nice one Hannah. Ignore the gobstes on here with thousands of posts to their name. You see the same sad names in pretty much every thread desperately trying to be funny to impress strangers on the internet. In reality they all wish they were 20 years old and in NZ too ;-)

...and then along comes a suck up who wants to ask you for dirty pictures but hasn't got the balls so just attempts to act like a white knight.
