Unbelievable. I started a policy with them in June '12 and opted to receive my documents online via the portal rather than by mail. Fast forward 13.5 months and they have automatically renewed the policy without so much as a phone call or e-mail at twice the price I have insured the car at, and the only clue I got came with my July bank statement. All of this, dispite the fact I phoned them in June and specifically told them I wasn't renewing.

The good news is within 8 minutes on the phone a full cancellation from start date was organised and a full refund for the amount I paid. This leads me to believe I'm not the only person that has been caught out.
