british cyclist, british team, british team, british car prize... left-hand-drive and french registered. Genius.
He lives in Monaco, so not as daft as it appears.
fair play wasn't aware of that... however monaco?! Lot of money in lycra and sweat.
He can afford to live there on the money he saved by not paying road tax.

"Born in Kenya and brought up in South Africa, since spring 2008 he has ridden under a British licence on the basis of his passport and father's and grandparents' country of birth."

He may briefly visit Britain to renew is passport, pick up his knighthood but not to pay any tax... :-)

In the Evening Standard tonight the headline for this was 'Chris Froome drives off in his new E-Type '. Nothing like accurate journalism smile

Well, it kind of is, in the d type, e type f type kind of way.
Nice move by jag though, after all the column inches generated this month alone would cist more than the mill cost of a car to print as adverts..

Very well deserved TDF win, and glad to see Jag joining in the celebration of another British winner smile

IIRC one of the Jag team cars broke down on the TDF - this resulted in Froome being forced to break a rule by eating too late in the stage and was docked 20secs (if you believe the excuse)

They owe him the car smile
Apparently one of their drinks coolers leaked all over the electronics and killed the car

I didn't know Cav had a McLaren. I would have asked him about it when I saw him a couple of weeks ago in Nice.

To be fair, his entire heritage/family tree is British- if he wants to see himself, and compete, as a Brit I don't see how anyone can begrudge him that.

Monaco? Crikey! I never knew cycling was so richmans! Wonder which other sports stars live there apart from the obvious F1 drivers.

V6 S is the one I'd have. Good choice by Jag.

V6 S is a bit too slow

I'd defiantly have the v8

Obviously would love a free V6S F-type tho
