This takes me back! I remember watching these films on my Packard Bell computer at my parents' house. I'd just had 'Telewest' round and subscribed to a £25/month 1mb broadband service which was great for porn and BMW films.
Star was great but I remember lusting after the 540i in 'Ambush'.
It'd be great to see them do a modern day version with the same actors and 'f' series cars now.
My favourite - The Hire. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-BHzHAmCCk

Check my garage out and make up your own mind...TX.
Better to regret the things you've done than the things you haven't!

The first one, "Ambush" directed by John Frankenheimer (who of course directed Ronin) is my fave.

Car chases are boring, no matter who directed them.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2s_yadb_fCo

Sounds ok tbh. What were your "upgrades"?!
TX.
I consider upgrades anything that isnt really essential, so it includes stuff likeTX.
- £132 for a new car key (I could have made do with just the 1 key, but you dont want to take any chances really)
- £3 for a PH smilie
- £27 new mats
- £4 for a new windscreen bottle cap
- £468 on a set of facelift Xenons
- £46 on some 3M di-noc for interior trim
- £195 on a two-day valet
- £200 on a H&S exhaust
- £343 on a detachable tow-bar
- £290 on a set of (refurbished) alloys for winter wheels (excl tyres)
- £25 on an cubby hole armrest replacement (to ditch the ancient Nokia phone insert)
- £38 on some 'authentic' numberplate surrounds and plates
and possibly some other stuff I forgot to list... In any case, take that amount away and the cost is quite reasonable don't you think?
