I feel there's more than an element of bandwagoneering going on following the ridiculous rise of the E30 M3 in recent years.
If people are queuing up to buy one then fair enough. I may well be out of touch. Nevertheless, I think it's a ludicrous price.
I guess the buyer of the restored m635 that was advertised for 60k in November (and which sold off the Owners club stand at the NEC) would disagree with you!If people are queuing up to buy one then fair enough. I may well be out of touch. Nevertheless, I think it's a ludicrous price.
5 figure mileage m635s have been advertised at 20 & 30k+ for a few years but if anything prices have dropped back slightly (NEC car excepted).

Spotted this in town last week. Interesting colour!
Taiga green I think.I have always had a soft spot for this M5
Similar to BMW Fueller Schwarz 312
I used to have one of these - gorgeous cars!
When I had mine they were going for peanuts relative to today's prices. I've always thought about going back and getting another but the constant replacing of parts and worrying about rust has always put me off.
Sadly my old car seems to have fallen on hard times. I may be wrong but the photos don't seem to be painting the best picture: http://www.carandclassic.co.uk/car/C296361
