My first car was a X reg 1.6l Fiesta Zetec S, amazing little car, so quick and nimble to drive, made it incredibly fun to drive and surprisingly fuel efficient. Needless to say I loved that car.
Missus had one of those for a bit. Loved it as well. Proper little go-kart. It was crying out for more power though.

Nope. I like it, but don't love it. It's reasonably quick, handles quite well and is generally a great all rounder. It's certainly the best car I've ever owned, but to me, it's still just a car, albeit a very competent one.

Given my particular circumstances (limited budget, need for four seats, no room for 2nd car etc) it's probably the best available.

Once I've moved into a house with room for more cars (next year or two), then I'll be looking at adding to the fleet with something that I will love.

I think I have love/ relationship with the Micra. It's a pretty crap car (in most respects), but I've spent a lot of time driving it over the years and come accustomed to its... Faults wink

Have to admit I do hate it a bit more than normal though because it broke down again yesterday tongue out
They are fun to drive though, as long as you take a brave pill and drive them flat out. And on the plus side mine used to do this day in day out and never broke down!

Love my little puma, even though it's for sale. Want to love my 900 t16s but it breaks my heart almost every week: latest one is just had the bumpers refurbished and someone bashed into it frown

Yes! I usually change cars every 6-12 months however I've had my Volvo (yes really) S40 T4 2001 model for nearly 5 years.
I've looked at changing many times but every time I drive the thing it puts a smile on my face. It can be a family car
It can be a motorway relaxed crusier
It can be a trackday monster
It can be a country lane warrior

It just ticks so many boxes, and best of all looks like a normal 4 door saloon (apart from the yellow paintwork!) Oh and that there are only 14 still registered in my colour and model makes it a rare thing too.

In summary - yes - I love my current car driving

When looking for a replacement for my last car the Scooby / Evo VII etc were on the list, then the Volvo came up as 'something different' and I took the plunge. The remap to 230bhp just helped with the grin factor too. whistle

130i.

It has many rich and varied faults. It doesn't quite sit perfectly level, it doesn't have a dipstick or water temperature gauge. It's a little small in the back and the boot isn't massive. It's expensive to service. It looks like a shoe.

But the 3.0 litre straight six just sings, and catapults the car forward with rear wheel drive dynamics. It's the best car I've ever owned by a long way, and I love it.

A Mk1 Ford KA? Yes, purely for the fact that it is my first car and my (fingers crossed) ticket to some NCB.

I love my TVR but its a weekend / fun car so I dont drive it all the time.

My snotter is a MG ZT 190bhp. Brought for £1100 has 64K on the clock and bits of trim fall of it all the time smile However, I only work 6 miles from home but its still fun to drive.

Absolutely agree. They are a hoot to drive flat out, and surprisingly nippy on a nice country road - sadly though a lot of my driving is in town or on the motorway.

Our car has generally been fine for reliability, but this year has been particularly bad. Refused to start on 5 occasions - the RAC chap described it as the most difficult Micra he's ever got to start hehe I'm just hoping that it'll make it through the winter *touch wood*

Love my Gransport, loved my Boxster and Alfa 156, all the others have been varying degrees of ok, other than a brief stint with a company Vectra which apart from its use as a van was crap
