Apologies for the boring same old topic but I think I've convinced the other half to buying into the fact we need a C63 estate, however I would like a little run around she can use for the school run and stables that will still offer a little fun when need be.
I will have around £2.5k left if I can get the C63 for the price I recon I can but just wondered if anyone could piont me in the direction of a budget pocket rocket.

So far she seems to like the C2 VTS???? surely there are more examples around???

C2 VTS is a decent little steer - the engine is a cracker and the suspension is that old-school Citroen/Peugeot mix of sporty without being crashy.

I'm lucky that she is a secert petrol head and the deal was that if we were to get the C63 I have to find for something that can offer her a little fun when I have the C63 on a daily basis. We currently have a 50/50 spilt with regards to priced cars at the moment and will now be putting 90% of our car budget in one basket to get the C63.

She did mention a W168 A-Class Evo, I shuddered at the thought but then again two full black mercs might look pretty neat on the drive

Comfortable car, great fun to drive and easy to fit kids in the back! Just not great on gas (but 192 model slightly better than the 231). One of the best value cars at the moment!

Morris Minor? very real, raw and cute to boot. Pluses inlcude; zero road tax, 40mpg, classic car insurance less than £100pa, home serivcing for less than £50 a pop, spares plentiful what not to like. My misses loves hers.

Gonna throw a Ford Puma into the equation- brilliant fun and great value.

God I wish I had your problem! Best of luck with the search!

Another vote for a forester turbo. I got one recently and I love it. Quick enough, comfy, loads of room and goes anywhere (well, almost anywhere).
