When I say lorry, I mean full artic truck. It was a relief when I was able to overtake him after being stuck behind him for absolutely ages, when he briefly pulled over for a minute at the top of that road.

He was clearly lost, so I felt for him to a degree, but I'm not sure it excused his inability to use his indicators at any point during the time that I was behind him.

It's funny though, I was in a bit of a rush yet ended up sat at the junction at the end of the road, watching incredulously in my rear view mirror as he first attempted to drive through there, and then tried to reverse back out when it struck him that he wasn't going to be able to get though!

I thought you had to pass some sort of driving test when you get into driving trucks? Alas, I guess it falls down in the same area as the regular driving test: they don't test the common sense of the driver!

Cue "Cool Story Bro!" etc. laugh

Bit harsh to put a road block in place, with no way to turnaround, but I bet he's driven through some warning signs on the way....

Saw a lorry try this left turn once. Result = snagged on railings. One of the then busiest junctions in the town centre buggered...

Unless the camera is disguising it, that doesn't look too difficult a turn. (class 1 HGV licence holder so not just an uninformed opinion)

I'd generally agree - although if you're a bit st you could easily make a mess of it.

I'd have to see the approach to it before making a final decision.
