Also, I'm assuming that manufacturer's stated pressures are at sea level?
Interesting, your probably right, then again even at 3000 FT above level it's only 1.52 psi less than at sea level. Can't believe it makes any difference, what's the highest drivable road in the world I wonder.

It will be ofset by the fact it is colder the higher you get wink
I think what ever height you are, what ever the temperature is, if you pump a tyre up to say 2 bar, it will be 2 bar above ambient. What do you think?

Can't be bothered. Didn't check them in 2 months, went to check them, they were still correct from last time after about 1500 miles.
Read this twice and couldn't believe it, so have read it a few more times - what a tw*t. Hope you don't live anywhere near me!

Probably the sort of person who lets the MOT tester tell him he has lights that don't work, or the recovery firm tell him the engine is fcensoredd because it has no oil and/or water in it!

Just hope he has run-flats with a tyre pressure monitoring system, never exceeds 50 mph and never gets a puncture more than 100 miles before one of his checks!

Mind you he may still not notice the warning light or bonging warning - probably causes mayhem on busy motorways when he runs out of fuel because he didn't check it in 2 months / 1500 miles and it had some last time!

Please get an autonomous car or use the train or bus - hand in PH card on the way out!

Sad but it seems to be true!cry

Mine tells me the pressure and temp of each tyre which I quite like, with foot pumps and even compressor inflators being so cheap these days I'm amazed people still use the garage forecourt.

Same here. Foot pumps and digital gauges are so cheap and it takes about a minute a corner to do it every few months (usually they're only about 3 psi down, unless one develops a slow puncture/valve leak).
Corvette C7 has an epic tyre monitoring system, and it also adapts the safety systems to suit the conditions.
