I think you've just leaked the first details of it there. So a Bi-turbo 3 litre six producing 422PS (416bhp), 540NM (398 ft lbf) from just 1900 RPM with a 1495kg kerb weight and 0-62 time of 4.4 seconds. The E92 had 414bhp and 295 ft lbf so similar power but a st load more torque.

I agree though, love that angle, and this is just all sorts of perverted <3

Sadly I doubt that detail will be making production!

So, by my calcs (and if weight is ~1,500kg), adding a tweak to get output to 450hp, will be 300hp/ton. Nice.

Look at the max power figure though, 422ps from 5400 to 7000 rpm. Without wanting to speculate too much that's got to be boost limited, probably meaning with a remap that will be a lot higher at 7,000rpm.

Some great pictures there. Looks particularly good from this angle:

I don't understand the M4 Coupé Moniker though, I thought the whole point of the 4 is that is a Coupé.
Its so when the 4dr Gran Coupé comes out they can differentiate wink

Looks ace. Provided they sort the shut line at the front of the bonnet! Better start saving. When is the M3 saloon being launched (if they are even doing one)?
It is the single most irritating thing about the all the new bmws, it just looks so cheap! Sort it out BMW Please!!

just saying..

I just hate the 'M4' badge on the front grill - gives it a chavvy touch. Leave it off and it will be slightly more discreet...

I think they do a similar thing with the current M6...

I miss when the M3s .... sorry M4 .... Had chrome kidney grills like they are supposed to instead of the black kidney grills of this M4 and the previous E92 M3 in some of the special editions. Always reminded me of the chavs bruvs that buy BMWs and tart them up with aftermarket mods

I think that weight might be DIN not EU so 1570kg? I'm also not sure if those numbers are real the 62mph time is only .2sec better than the out going DCT M3 and the F30 B3 is quicker at 4.2 secs to 62.

The car looks bloody fantastic though, but I have a horrible feeling that specced up this is going to be 70k+

That is superb! The proportions are right, it looks brilliant! This coming from someone who thinks that any BMW since the E46/39 era has looked dull

A happy coincidence but the E46 M3 was 1570kg to EU1. 450bhp and well under 1500kg for a CSL would be good.
