Ahh, Dangels - splendid. And now very pricey because they've been adopted by connoisseurs of shabby chic.
A rather nice Dangel has a very brief cameo - at 04:42 - during Henry Catchpole's French road trip in a McLaren 12C:

Do I see a personalised plate on the 512? Is TSR supposed to be short for Testarossa??? Why have a massive rant about private plates the other month then roll around with one on yours??? Busted Mr Harris
Please have a read of his original purchased thread and then get back to us I thought I was the only person that has a thing for these, here`s one I saw this year in an underground carpark in Val D`Isere!
Mrs Don Logan`s words - FFS what the F are you talking a picture of that for?
On the fuel front I took my R26R to Chamonix and back a couple of weeks ago (and only did Cols Forclaz and Gr Bernard) and used what I thought was a pityful 51 gallons over just 1,376 miles!

Digging the Dangel.
But is the risk of getting one then that you get a serious itch to do something mad like drive it from London to Capetown via the coastal route? I seem to remember that in parts of Mauritania, the beach is the road, and it would look awesome on the Skeleton Coast in Namibia (is there anywhere more impossibly adventurous-sounding than that?).

Or it might just be the plate that came with the car being that it's a K reg which is consistent with the age of a 512TR?AyBee said:
