I thought I was the only person that has a thing for these, here`s one I saw this year in an underground carpark in Val D`Isere!
Mrs Don Logan`s words - FFS what the F are you talking a picture of that for?
On the fuel front I took my R26R to Chamonix and back a couple of weeks ago (and only did Cols Forclaz and Gr Bernard) and used what I thought was a pityful 51 gallons over just 1,376 miles!
That........................ is immense.Loved these in std format but that seriously rocks. Plenty of room for my snowboarding/mountainbiking st plus it has that 'go anywhere' abilityMrs Don Logan`s words - FFS what the F are you talking a picture of that for?

After a recent outburst over personalised number plates, the irony will not be lost on you that I now own one of the worst I've ever seen. It's fairly clear that someone thought it a clever approximation of '512 Testarossa', but the first friend who saw the car simply asked why anyone would chose to have a shortened version of the word tosser on a license plate. Either way, I hate it and it's going in the bin.
You can leave your apology at the door on your way out My Parents ran Pug 505 estates for 20 yrs through the 80s and 90s (H576 PMS where are you now). I spent many hours sitting in the 3rd row of seats driving all round the country.
I still love them and regularly go searching for one to buy but sadly not many left these days. I believe the 4x4 conversion was only done on LHD models but I may be wrong.

I think I am the first to pick up that Mr Harris has blown his cover. The Dangel is located just down the road from where he is staying - in a place called Le Castellet. Hmmmm, signs of a fine PH-er. Goes on family holiday, takes sports car, thinks cars whilst away & ends up near a famous racetrack (& Michelin test facility).
Can we look forward to finding out how the 512TR handles on the track?

We had a 505 GTI estate (G716 WVC iirc). Loved that thing. 8 seater and still a useful sized boot with all the seats up. Makes the packaging on some modern cars look pretty tragic.
I also think they have aged well, they look properly mean from the front end. I wish Peugeot would make a modern version of it. I think it would do rather well.
As for the 4x4 versions. Tres cool.

I saw a few Dangels (!) on exchange trips to during my 80's teenage years. Got a bollicking from one of my teachers for not listening to the guided tour of yet another "traboule" because I was busy taking pictures of a 5 Maxi Turbo..................
Oh, and thanks for the link - I just lost half an hour looking at various old Renaults, many of which were dirt cheap. Peugeots next. Will the prices of old French tat go up in the next week, and will Eurotunnel need to put on extra trains due to this? Hope you're on a commission..........
Quite a few A310 V6's on there as well............. And a Matra Djet!

Oh great, that's an afternoon looking at French tat.
Looks like next year's villa in Ibiza is cancelled and a family trip en Francais is in order. May have some explaining to do when I tell Mrs SB that she'll have to make her own way back to Blighty as I've just spunked €1000 on a knackered French Range Rover.

Just get it trailered back. And by arranging it beforehand you will save the emergency callout fee and waiting six hours at the roadside.Looks like next year's villa in Ibiza is cancelled and a family trip en Francais is in order. P.S. It was you who said it was knackered, not me making an assumption on the reliability of a two decades old French barge. No, not me at all.
