Do you see any interesting cars on your commute?
Discussion
Yes.
village 1:
Red Aston DB7 (seems to have gone though)
Big, meaty blue M635CSi - he had a parts car for it but that seems to be gone now, glad it looks like it's finished!
village 3:
Red morris traveller
village 5:
944
some sort of garage, which occasionally has Austin 7 types parked outside. The big front doors were open once and it looked like a timewarp
Village 6:
Possibly SORNed Mk.1 Focus RS
S3 E-Type (I know it's there but usually garaged)
Village 7:
Lancia Beta HPE 2000
Big old 50s/60s saloon of some sort (only seen it a handful of times)
Town 1:
Supercar showroom
Triumph Acclaim regularly on the bypass
Various 205s
Old duffer in an old London Taxi on a regular basis.
FSO Truck
Occasionally see an FSO Polonez Caro, although it was rear ended over the winter. Don't know if it survives.
As you can see I rarely pay attention to my commute anymore

Most mornings I see a red Triumph Dolomite going opposite direction from me. I even know where the guy works as i used to work in the same large company but didnt know him personally.
Also used to see a Morris Minor pickup in purple, haven't seen it for a while though.
And still see a yellow Mk1 Astra estate. And until recently a red mk1 Astra GTE.
I also see a green Cavalier, but with the unusual reg 39F. Always think that the plate must be worth more than the car!

COSWORTH STI and RS 3 and the odd F-TYPE everyday ,also once a week there is a ferrari 430.
Might aswel mention that sutton coldfield has the highest number of AMGs ive ever seen anywhere , so they are no longer interesting in the rarity stakes .

I once saw an Aventador there before I even knew they came out, I also used to see a Bentley Supersports drive past my college everyday

I have occasionally (in the Summer months, anyway) seen an old MG Midget on my commute.
And I mean an old one like this;
In fact, I actually think this might even be the one, as the one I see does have an "MG ???" plate on it....
Someone at work used to (and possibly still does, but he's retired now) run an MG TF as a daily driver in summer. And I mean an old one like this;

I usually see a couple of ferraris on the way to work but then I do work in sevenoaks and they do have lambo/bentley and aston martin dealerships
Best plate ive seen on one of them was on a convertible ferrari 69 LS I've always wondered if the LS stand for Loves Sucking but have never met the owner to ask

I've also started seeing a Clio V6 in that mildly offensive shade of yellow they used to do. Want.
Never used to see this much interesting machinery before. My new commute mixes a very affluent area (sadly, I'm only passing through...) with a popular driving road. What's impresses me, though, is that it's not just bling. I see a lot of slightly leftfield choices which are clearly owned by genuine enthusiasts.

I'm lucky in that my commute takes me along the Fosse Way and not a million miles away from Gaydon... Consequently I see all sorts of Astons, Jags and Range Rovers in both normal and disguised forms.
There's also an F40 which I see quite freqently going the opposite way on the Fosse.
The rarest thing I see frequently though is a DeLorean parked in my work's car park, although I've not seen it on the road yet so I guess that doesn't count as seeing it on my commute
