It's always nice to have a good customer service experience, and I've had two in two months with Swinton.

Phoned up in June to change the car on the policy - "No charge". New documents posted as well, not even emailed.

Phoned up just now to add 'wker Plate' - "I don't want to charge you £25 for 2 minutes work".

After the grief I had with Direct Line last year and the worst experience ever, this was great.

Worth a look if you change vehicles often or are shopping about.

Was the car you changed to a lower group than the current one as they usually don't charge as they are getting money back?

Well my premium went up, so I imagine it was a higher group. I went to an older car so expected the premium to increase.

With Direct Line there was ALWAYS an 'Amin Fee' for change of vehicle, and change of plates.
