Halfords tool chest, any good?

I picked up the 'cheapo' top box and roller base for around £50 a couple of years back. Granted, it's light and cheap but it's been fine. The top box is fairly well filled (ie, I can just lift it comfortably) and its been chucked in and out the car a good few times and has stood up well.

As a stop gap or a hobby box, they're fine.

Yes. They'll be on offer again soon for 299. I bought them last Christmas and I use them every day at work.

They're fine value for money for 299. The only downside is the effort it takes to get the stickers off them.

The black ones normally have the offer come up as the top box is £299, get the bottom box free.

have had mine a few years now, only home garage use, but are fully loaded, draged about abit, and no issues or problems with them, except the removal of them dam stickers

I bought a couple of used Snap on 3 drawer boxes 15 years ago for £50 each. They still look and work the same. I Fancy a roll cab to put them on but the in store Halfords ones look very flimsy in comparison.

Shame, I am looking for a couple of the better quality ones with decent bearings when they come on offer again.
