How diverse a range of cars have you owned in your lifetime? In 17 years of driving I think I’ve done fairly well at not being too much of a fanboy (apart from my 3 VWs in 4 years).

British: Vauxhall (Astra), Rover, MG
French: Peugeot 205
Italian: Fiat (x2)
German: BMW, VW, Mercedes
Japanese: Mazda, Subaru
American: Jeep, Chrysler

I have yet to own anything Swedish but like Saabs and Volvos, Korean: could see myself owning a cheap Kia as a cheap runabout one day (not so keen on Hyundai, although some of the North American models such as the RWD Genesis Coupe seem quite appealing), Malaysian: Proton (no thanks), China (no thank you), Romanian (maybe a new-style Dacia Duster) and Spanish (SEAT) and Czech (Skoda), wouldn’t rule it out but feel like I’ve been there already with VW.

What countries have you owned cars from and what countries are missing from your list?

In 8 years of driving I've had the following:

British: TVR Chimaera and Cerbera
French: Renault Clio and Citroen C2
German: Audi A5
Japanese: Mazda MX-5, Mazda 6 and Suzuki Grand Vitara

I wouldn't mind an American car, Camaro or Mustang at some point. I might look at a Kia as my next runabout car as I quite like their latest models and they seem quite well specced these days.

I think I've been fairly diverse and multicultural with my cars. Also covering different types of vehicles.

German:
1997 Polo. Only drove it on my provisional licence until about a week before my test.

Japanese:
2001 EK Civic.
1998 Accord Type-R.

They're my only road cars so far, but my Mini that I used to race in Autograss taught me most of what I know mechanically.

I haven't been very diverse at all! 4 Subaru wagons of varying performance level (never found anything else that does the same job better so why change), and a couple of Mk1 MX5s (one with a turbo).

I've not done very well!

My first 2 cars were ford fiestas, since then I have had 14 (I think) Peugeots, 12 of which have been 205 GTI's! I'm only 24!

American - Ford Focus Zetec
German - BMW 3 series 320d se touring, smart roadster (definately German. Not even slightly French!)
Swedish - Saab 9-3 1.9td vector sport sportwagon
Japanese - Eunos Roadster
The conclusion I have reached from this exercise is that I haven't owned enough cars, but at least none of them have been French!

British, French, German and Japanese.

Although arguably Vauxhall is American, and Lotus was Malaysian at the time my car was built (although it was Italian the year before).

11 coupes (13 if you include 2 convertibles with permanant hard tops), 2 hatchbacks and 4 saloons.

13 RWD, 6FWD and no 4WD.

No Autos.

Only 1 with an airbag.

Only 3 with ABS.

Only 1 with traction control.

Nothing newer than 1998, nothing older than 1979.

Not so diverse but plenty of them.
Would be interesting if we gave them a rating score 1 to 10 in brackets after each car.

Mostly Japanese, French and German.

Not really sure what Ford or Vauxhall are classed as but I've had one of each.

3 of the Japanese cars presumably were built in the UK (2x Micras and a Primera).

Also, 5 RWD drive cars, 1 of which mid-engined.

One turbo, one straight-six and one V6.

3 Convertibles.
