Spotted in Aldershot today...

UP51 ART on a silver Volkswagen Transporter T30 van.

I'm not normally a fan of many 'vanity' plates, but this one made me smile. It hadn't even been mis-spaced or butchered - completely legal, and looked exactly like 'UPSTART' from a distance. Kudos to the owner for not 'chavving it up' with a misplaced bolt, or cramped up spacing. thumbup

Coincidentally, it was the first time I've been into Aldershot in years, too. Picking my son up from a barbecue at a friends house at the bottom of the hill I spotted you driving down. I was slightly 'lost' in those terraced streets, and ended up heading out of Aldergrot via Weybourne, instead of the way I went in.

I didn't notice that it wasn't the real deal, actually (the bloody badge worked then!). Weird that they stuck an S63 one on, though - surely if you're out to impress people, the S65 badge would be the wiser choice! hehe

Owned by Chris Evans. Used to adorn his Ferrari 250GT California. Now adorns a Ghost wrapped in pink as part of breast cancer care: http://www.breastcancercare.org.uk/fundraising-eve...
