Real Good Number Plates : Vol 4
Discussion
Two interesting spots heading to RIAT last weekend
Firstly, Thursday 10th July - M1 Southbound - Black Rolls Royce Phantom with CEO 1, and second spot was heading through Burford high street en route to Fairford - White Mercedes CL65 AMG with TEE 80Y.
Both incredibly drool-worthy
Edit: The cars, not the plates (just to clarify )

AE 1 I've just seen on an Insignia hire car with some sort of national flag on (as in, flying on the bonnet), which is odd, as I was pretty sure thst was the Bristol Mayor's car. Lent perhaps to a visitor given it was on a Europcar?
I saw that as well, and we couldn't understand why it was on a hire car either. The flag install on the front grille looked incredibly amateurish as well - they'd basically just cut a hole in the badge!Jagmanv12 said:

It actually sold for £3,300 (+fees) in 2005. It could well be the surname of the owner.
Whilst Ker is a fairly rare surname it's more likely to be Kerr. So the plate only slightly resembles their name. Certainly not worth £3k+ imo.Fun Bus said:
I meant the surname could be Tasker, not Ker.
If so then Mr/Mrs/Ms Tasker has more money than sense. It should be in the crappy plate postings
I just don't understand why some people pay fortunes for crap plates. They don't mean anything unless they are seriously altered.
Don't get the flapping wings??
