I saw that as a great plate too. If my surname was Tasker, I'd want it. I think it looks ace, no need at all for any alterations.

It actually sold for £3,300 (+fees) in 2005. It could well be the surname of the owner.
Whilst Ker is a fairly rare surname it's more likely to be Kerr. So the plate only slightly resembles their name. Certainly not worth £3k+ imo.
The flapping of approaching colourful wings is heard?

AE 1 I've just seen on an Insignia hire car with some sort of national flag on (as in, flying on the bonnet), which is odd, as I was pretty sure thst was the Bristol Mayor's car. Lent perhaps to a visitor given it was on a Europcar?
Apparently he is using this car whilst they decide what happens to his Jag which was about to be written off. That's from 2011.

I meant the surname could be Tasker, not Ker.
If so then Mr/Mrs/Ms Tasker has more money than sense.

It should be in the crappy plate postings smile

I just don't understand why some people pay fortunes for crap plates. They don't mean anything unless they are seriously altered.

Don't get the flapping wings?? smile

Took this picture yesterday at the Uxbridge autoshow - please bear in mind that I took this pic to show the good plate, not the hideous waste of an E63.

I might have posted OAT 1 on a Jag Xj, and now a FFRR, but this thing was in front of me recently and I got chatting to the chaps driving it. The company has the full range of OAT plates and this truck goes to Carfest North, among other things, to serve people their oats, first thing in the morning.

Oh, and maybe this is a bit of a desperate spot, but amused me. A three wheeler Mog with the fighter plane livery. A bit of fun.

Just around the corner I spotted a new Rolls Royce with a TFL private hire sticker in the back window, which amused me no end. The owner must have been very annoyed having this forced on him and any passengers will be equally annoyed.

The fares must be eye watering

Isn't that a dodge so that you don't have to pay the congestion charge if you say your car is a taxi?

It was in Knightsbridge, there are lots and lots of complimentary Rolls for the hotels etc, I assume the one I saw is not complimentary and needs a private hire licence through accepting "fares". I would be surprised if the owner of a £250k car was that worried about paying £2500 in congestion charge a year.
