Keep on thinking I might get a personal registration, perhaps something not related to me directly (and going all imaginative with my initials + '666' shows the registration was on a 1948 Volvo bus..) but one to keep for a while on future vehicles. Nothing particularly expensive though.

Anyone thought about doing a 'Real Good Plates For Sale' thread? I know they sometimes get posted in here and it obviously might be a bit difficult to moderate those posting from their own ones for sale; but might throw up some interesting ones.

What was that 'kind of' symmetrical one that somebody linked in the last couple of weeks? UII111U or similar for £2-3k?

I don't think the Mods would be too happy about that as there is an official plates for sale section already in the classifieds on here...! nono on the other note "good plate good investment" yes go for it....

I did just mean posting links of (other people's/trader's) plates for sale, either in the PH classifieds, Ebay or whatever; much like some of the car/barge threads. I do understand how Mods may still not want one running though, all the same.

Who the does the RS6 driver think he is?
I assumed that was Scooby P1's car, parked for the pic. If someone has parked there to go shopping, I hope the car was lifted onto a low loader-!
AH! I see now, makes sense and I can see why.

I think a thread like that would just become a massive argument about the values of the plates advertised.

Well spotted. I'm on the left. The RS6 is often at the same supermarket as me and we are both in the 'family bays' although it looks from that angle like he isn't, but assure you he is.

I wasn't trying to be clever - I really did think someone had just abandoned their car!

Couple of nice ones so far today:

ANG 11E - Range Rover

EAG 1E - BMW 3-series

the photo is a bit blurred but it looks like "21 CE" so some would say wrong thread with the spacing.... But it sold in Oct 1995 for £2,800 + VAT Etc... Great car though.... The BMW 840.... But I would say that as I have an 840 Sport tucked away in a little more subtle "DAKAR" Yellow...! hehe

A World record edition no less - one of five in the world and the owner has two other Veyrons in his collection too. One of them wears the plate BUG 11.
